STORY
Before glass was readily available in the Philippines, capiz shell was used much like stained glass-creating intricate patterns in colors that let the light in. In the Capiz Butterfly Suncatcher, that same technique is used to catch the sun in a capiz shell design of a butterfly, a purple blossom, and green vines. Hang in the window to catch the sun, or on a wall as piece of handcrafted art it is.
