Welcome to our global maker-to-market movement where, together with 20,000 artisans, we ignite social change. We create opportunities for individuals, families, and communities in developing countries to thrive through strong relationships, fair wages, safe working conditions, and sustainable practices.
The Moonbeam Lariate Necklace consists of frosted grey glass seed beads strung on thread with a white moonstone on one end, and a gold coin charm with a lotus flower imprint on the other. The necklace is threaded through two central gold-colored beads to unitize and create the lariat effect of the necklace. The moonstone and lotus coin charm are positioned to hang unevenly, with the stone above the lotus coin.

TARA is one of the pioneering Indian organizations in the field of fair wages, non formal education programs for children and women, health and environmental awareness and further development for its member artisans. Artisan benefits from TARA include medical insurance, interest-free loans and advances, a savings program and skills training. Ten Thousand Villages has purchased products from TARA since 1986.
