Ghera Glass Bead Earrings

A gleaming gold-colored brass post anchors a delicate white bead, leading to a front-facing circular frame that radiates with intricate beadwork. Layers of alternating blue and gray glass beads create a mesmerizing pattern, while the outer edge forms a subtle zigzag design for added texture and movement. The contrast of luminous beads against warm gold brass gives these earrings a modern yet timeless appeal, perfect for elevating both casual and formal outfits. A Ten Thousand Villages Exclusive handcrafted by the artisans of Tara Projects (India) Limited, an organization dedicated to practicing fairness in its production and trading activities for the development of grassroots and marginalized sections of society.

TARA is one of the pioneering Indian organizations in the field of fair wages, non formal education programs for children and women, health and environmental awareness and further development for its member artisans. Artisan benefits from TARA include medical insurance, interest-free loans and advances, a savings program and skills training. Ten Thousand Villages has purchased products from TARA since 1986.
