Braman Tripod Binoculars

A statement piece that blends old-world craftsmanship with timeless style, these working binoculars with 8x magnification rest on a sturdy, three-legged teak wood tripod. Rich brown leather wraps the binoculars’ tapered center, adding texture and character, while gleaming bronze-toned brass accents lend a warm metallic contrast. Each tripod leg features metal hardware and a small metal foot for stability with adjustable knobs that extend the height for perfect positioning. Handcrafted by the artisans of Tara Projects (India) Limited, an organization dedicated to practicing fairness in its production and trading activities for the development of grassroots and marginalized sections of society.

TARA is one of the pioneering Indian organizations in the field of fair wages, non formal education programs for children and women, health and environmental awareness and further development for its member artisans. Artisan benefits from TARA include medical insurance, interest-free loans and advances, a savings program and skills training. Ten Thousand Villages has purchased products from TARA since 1986.
