STORY
The Convertible Capiz Earrings can be worn as a single white disk or as two layered disks in black and white. These post earrings are handcrafted by artisans working with our partner SAFFY, Inc. Artisans wash and soak the thin capiz shells before cutting them into shape and edging them with wire in a labor-intensive process. Before glass windows became available in the Philippines, capiz was used for windows in houses!
