Welcome to our global maker-to-market movement where, together with 20,000 artisans, we ignite social change. We create opportunities for individuals, families, and communities in developing countries to thrive through strong relationships, fair wages, safe working conditions, and sustainable practices.
The Sarita Bracelet is handcrafted by artisans in India, where a spiral represents the changing nature of life. With its narrow, open cuff, the feminine form adjusts for an easy, flattering fit. The floral vines and spiral are embossed, and the disc is etched using a water-based paint technique to give an oxidized finish, creating a one-of-a-kind pattern due to its handmade nature. With a bold central design and minimal band, this bracelet strikes a perfect balance.

TARA Projects stands for "Trade Alternative Reform Action." Working in a 125-mile radius of Delhi, TARA is a fair trade program for community development and business. The organization enables hundreds of artisans who create some of the major handicraft lines of North India to sell their products internationally. TARA is one of the pioneering Indian organizations in the field of fair wages, non formal education programs for children and women, health and environmental awareness and further development for its member artisans. Artisan benefits from TARA include medical insurance, interest-free loans and advances, a savings program and skills training. Ten Thousand Villages has purchased products from TARA since 1986.
