The Paper Star Retablo is handcrafted by the artisans working with Manos Amigas, our fair trade partner helping small workshops across Peru find new markets for their products and supporting health and education in maker communities. Retablos, or image boxes, portraying scenes of faith and daily life, were originally brought to Peru from Spain. This retablo joins this centuries-old art form.
