New Beginnings Dangle Earrings

The New Beginnings Dangle Earrings are a stunning blend of ethical materials and beauty. Made with reclaimed animal bone, a byproduct of the meat industry, these earrings give new life to what would otherwise be discarded. The bone dangles delicately from a gold-colored brass chain and loop, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to any outfit. Each pair is skillfully hand-carved and polished by artisans, giving each piece a unique look. These earrings symbolize new beginnings, making them the perfect accessory to wear when starting a new journey or simply to bring a touch of positivity to your day. Handcrafted by artisans in India with TARA Projects, working with hundreds of artisans: paying fair wages, providing medical insurance, interest-free loans and advances, a savings program, and skills training.

THE MAKERS

TARA Projects stands for "Trade Alternative Reform Action." Working in a 125-mile radius of Delhi, TARA is a fair trade program for community development and business. The organization enables hundreds of artisans who create some of the major handicraft lines of North India to sell their products internationally. TARA is one of the pioneering Indian organizations in the field of fair wages, non formal education programs for children and women, health and environmental awareness and further development for its member artisans. Artisan benefits from TARA include medical insurance, interest-free loans and advances, a savings program and skills training. Ten Thousand Villages has purchased products from TARA since 1986.
