Invasive weeds in the Philippines interfere with local farming. The Salay Handmade paper artisan group transformed this challenge into an asset by finding a way to transform these weeds into durable paper products. Through the years, their crafting methods became more sophisticated, and they've recently developed the ability to print photos and patterns onto paper. This particular photo was taken by a Ten Thousand Villages buyer during her travels in India.
