Silk thread is embroidered onto a cotton background, with a silk fabric frame. The "Tree of life" symbol is sacred and occurs in all cultures. Its roots plunge deep into the lower part of the world, branches reach upwards towards heaven and the trunk is the means of ascending upwards and reaching beyond, and there by connecting three world. Zardozi Original is a workshop of Craft Resource Center, providing fair wages to artisans in a small village where employment is scarce.
